The Malaysian national airline is very active on the continent, and offers flights from and to Kuala Lumpur to and from Phnom Penh. Directly competing with Air Asia, also Malaysian, one of the most prominent low-cost carriers of the moment, Malaysia has made efforts to offer competitive fares and raise its level of service. The company, which was put in difficulty by the Covid-19 pandemic, seems to have held its ground and still offers many international and regional flights.
