NATIONAL LIBRARY
Library in Phnom Penh with a wealth of literature, including over 100,000 books in a variety of languages.
Built in 1924 and recently renovated thanks to the initiative of the French Embassy, it housed members of the Khmer Rouge regime during the war who destroyed more than 80% of the books. Reopened in 1980 with the help of many countries, it now houses a rich collection of literature, with a total of more than 100,000 works in various languages. There are biographies of Ho Chi Minh, Marx and Mao. It is worth a visit with its beautiful garden, which can be visited during opening hours.
