A simple temple with exterior wooden pillars, one of the last village temples around Battambang.
This is one of the last village temples that you can see around Battambang. It is very simple, with external wooden pillars. There is a restoration project initiated by the students and teachers of the Preah Monivong high school in Battambang which has started and will continue for several years, a bit like the temples of Angkor. But the major concern is the lack of subsidies. The life around the temple is in full swing, and the stalls of vendors offer religious objects as well as snacks for the hungry.
