Perfect place for an happy hour drink and a nice swim in the pool.Friendly staff....just came for a cocktail and got a free towel

The Rambutan Hotel & Resort is above all, first in friendliness and accommodating attitude. The hotel’s rooms are an assortment of sizes and locations, so check out the web site. Some are up somewhat steep stairs, and those sometimes have lovely balconies. Some have fairly private patios, and all rooms are in bright tropical colors.

The location is within a half mile of dozens of casual and fine dining restaurants as well as the old market where there are many bargains. If you need transport farther, the hotel features its own tuk-tuk drivers who have been vetted, and many have worked there for a decade or more there. The charge is small, and they will pick up customers to bring them back to the hotel. You do not have to trust strangers to travel on the streets of Siem Reap.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast is not a buffet, thank goodness, but always cooked to order. The breakfast is included in all rates except for the separate Urban Apartments. The restaurant has a mixed Khmer/western menu for all meals, so you can sample native dishes as well as get your favorite comfort foods.

The adjoining open-air bar features creative craft cocktails and possibly the friendliest bartenders in town. Try the house special Kampot pepper martini, an exclusive made with the Cambodian black peppercorns..

The salt water pool is big enough for laps, and has adjoining chaise loungers with bar/restaurant service.

I have visited Siem Reap a half dozen times, and know this to be an excellent place for newcomers as well as returning guests enchanted with the Cambodia culture and people. The hotel books both airport pick-up as well as all the local tours including the highly popular sunrise at Angkor Wat featured.

Bien situé à côté du marché et de la rue des vendeurs de street foods on peut aller à pieds au pub street (10 min).

We stayed here during November 2022 during our vacation in Siem Reap. We had a great time. Rooms were duplex and neatly furnished with enough space and light. Located at a walking distance from Pub Street, river, shopping attractions and downtown Siem Reap. We used the cab and tuk tuk services from the hotel for pick up and drop as well as Angkor Wat tours. Rates were very reasonable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with both continental and local cuisine. Reception and other hotel staff were very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. Stay at this hotel shall always make our Siem Reap trip memorable.

Keep coming back here. At a certain price point I don’t think this gorgeous hotel can be beaten. I’d describe it as an oasis in a bustling resort. 10/10 recommended ❤️❤️❤️

Nice and lovely experience

The Rambutan had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Such kind staff willing to help with anything and anytime. The rooms were nice and air conditioned with some beautiful, traditional touches. The location is close enough to the river and pub street that you can walk but not so close that you’re bothered by the noise. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Gorgeous! Top service and clean beautiful rooms

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and we really had an amazing time.
The hotel pick up service from the airport was great and we were welcome with cold drinks with was absolutely nice touch.
The room is gorgeous with an outdoor bath tub and the food was superb! My favorite was green mango salad with dried fish ????‍????????
The location is perfect, walking distance to many things and secluded from any street noise.
There are a bunch of services and activities that the hotel can arrange for you and I’d recommend those. We did the temples tour with a guide, dinner with a show, Phare the circus and airport pickup/drop off and all of those were great.
We will definitely be going back there next time we’re in Siem Reap

When looking for a hotel in SR I was undecided between the Rambutan and a few others that looked a bit more modern and sleek. After staying here for 5 nights I do not regret my choice. In the end it’s the vibe of a place that creates lasting memories, and not the amount of power sockets in a room. Rambutan is a real haven, the tropical garden setting around the pool is a million times more relaxing than a roof top, and the people working there are kind, attentive and charming. It was a pleasure.

La situation est parfaite, derriere le marché de nuit, dans 1 ruelle, ce qui permet d etre au calme.

We had the best stay here. The rooms are tastefully designed, and the landscaping around the hotel is impeccable. Watching the flowers from the trees fall into the pool was so beautiful. The location is great, food was delicious, and the staff was so kind. We were going to head to one of the temples in Angkor Wat but the front desk had told us that the temple we were heading to was closed after 1700. They organized a tuk tuk to take us out into the countryside and watch the sunrise in hammocks overlooking the rice fields. That will be a core memory for sure!

The only downsides were the noise at night and hot water (which I had read in other reviews). I used ear plugs which worked great, and ran the shower in intervals to not run out of hot water. It wasn’t a big deal at all.

I would highly recommend this place, and I wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else when we return to Siem Reap!

Bel hôtel très sympathique plein de charmes qui possède de belles chambres spacieuses et une très belle piscine. L'hôtel dispose d'un petit restaurant où l'on y mange bien. Le personnel et très agréable et sympathique. L'ambiance et très romantique. L'hôtel se situe en centre ville proche de différentes activités comme les marchés de nuits. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour

The Rambutan is a great hotel. It’s within walking distance of Pub Street but it’s far enough away that it’s very quiet at night. The rooms, although a little outdated, were spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast was good and we enjoyed the happy hours each evening. As an LGBT owned hotel, my partner and I felt welcomed and safe. The best part of the Rambutan is the staff. They are all very kind, welcoming, and ensure you enjoy each moment of the stay. Rotha, the bar manager, was a stand out employee. He was always friendly and I cannot thank him enough for being such a great host.

At first I was a little apprehensive???? when my driver turned on the street, but this is a wonderful surprise! ????. It is an absolutely adorable boutique hotel???? with the sweetest and most polite helpful staff ???? including some younger guys with giant ????. Everyone is dressed in uniforms. ????

There is someone up front 24 hours. If you come back late just ring the bell at the gate and they will open the door for you. ???? Somehow they seem to remember everybody's name and room

???? some of the rooms enter right at the pool. Some of them are up their own private stairwells shared with only one other. It is very quaint and unique.

The property is???? owned and operated.

Breakfast is included during your stay. Never have I been anywhere with an all-you-can-eat included breakfast. And even has eggs Benedict!! ????????The menu is wonderful. Love the cute little pool kitchen????????‍????.

There's even a poolside massage parlor????????‍♂️ and spa.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte in dieser kleinen Oase in Siem Reap.
Tolle und motivierte Mitarbeiter mit exzellentem Service.
Das ganze Hotel ist von dem Besitzer mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet worden. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das a la Carte Frühstück und auch auch das kleine Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.
An der kleinen Bar werden spitzen Drinks und Cocktails serviert (Khmer-Martini)
Das Hotel hat einen kleinen neuen Bereich für Spa und Massage-Anwendungen. Das Hotel arbeitet mit einem spitzen Spa zusammen.
Desweiteren gibt es hoteleigene blaue Tuk-Tuks für Erkundungstouren.
Wir planen schon den nächsten Besuch.

A good address in Siam reap; we were placed with boutique hotel is the place is really charming just like the rooms which are tastefully decorated. The staff is very friendly, the very pleasant and welcome pool when you enter a day of the temples of Angkor. Moreover, this hotel is located in a narrow street in the quiet and yet 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Recommended!
