STOCKER STUDIO

Here more than anywhere else, we take the time it takes to achieve perfection. The place is run by Eric Stocker, a restorer for national museums and French national furniture, recognized in Asia as a master lacquerer. Since 1998, he has been training young Cambodians in lacquer, gilding and polychromy. Under his direction, in 10 years, 350 craftsmen will be trained in the practices of art crafts. Joined by his brother Thierry, they create with young Cambodian craftswomen the Angkor Artwork Workshop.
