PHNOM KROM
A group of Angkorian pagodas and temples, with the three sanctuaries representing the Hindu trinity: Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma.
A nice set of more or less recent pagodas and Angkorian temples. The whole is not in very good condition, but will be a very good stop before embarking on the Tonle Sap, or one more temple to visit if you have done the tour of the Angkor complex. The temples, built in the Bakheng style, date from the 10th century; the three shrines represent the Hindu trinity: Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma. The view from the site is still worth the detour, especially at the end of the day to admire the sunset on the Tonle Sap.
