WAT BO
Pagoda with murals depicting episodes from the Reamker and scenes from everyday life at the time
This pagoda is famous for its beautiful 19th century murals representing episodes of the Reamker as well as scenes of daily life at the time. One can see Chinese people smoking opium, French soldiers and officers of the colonial troops with their beautiful fangy moustaches as well as market scenes. Behind the large Buddha of the pagoda is an interesting collection of smaller Buddhas offered by the faithful. This pagoda is often closed, so you'll have to get yourself opened for a small fee.
