BALCONY GUESTHOUSE & RESTAURANT

La chambre que nous avions réservée n'est pas terrible ( sur booking, c'est celle avec sdb privée et avec "vue" latérale ( tellement latérale qu'on apercoit à peine le fleuve en se penchant ) , elle se trouve à l'étage en-dessous du bar et s'est révélée très bruyante du fait de l'établissement à côté dès 5h du matin. Les chambres donnant sur la terrasse et le bar sont peut-être mieux mais la musique du bar en soirée peut gêner les personnes désirant se coucher tôt.

It is 19:00 when we arrive at Balcony guesthouse we had previously reserved by email (several emails was exchanged and our experienced reservation several times). Well, I will be categorical and will say me on all forums journey: DO NOT GO in Balcony guesthouse!!!!!!!!!! In the events, we arrive with a child and a baby, tired after 10:00 of bus from Siem Reap, not a hello from the husband who us " accueille" (you can even talk about welcome here). Its only sentence in our connection and a haughty air was " check your emails" (so check your emails). We light computer, we connect to the wireless at guesthouse and discover that, during the long trip from 10:00 by bus, this monsieur an email sent us that it could pertinently that we would not have the opportunity to see) to cancel your reservation!!!!!!! Not a word of excuse, nothing, the monsieur turns the heels and dates from away!!!!! No minimum i.e. to advise us another guesthouse or to offer a tuk tuk us to bring together nothing else and a completely scornful air!!!! With this guesthouse, you are clearly a wallet on legs, there is nothing to do!!!!!! Unacceptable practices therefore but with a attitude, such as I said to this monsieur " a shame you" (shame on you)! Do not hesitate to mast this opinion, AVOID Balcony guesthouse absolutely! And, after a Internet searches, we notice that it once the same mishap in many travellers: they " overbook" (do too many reservations) and then the people in the square leave... (excuse to me the expression). Here we are therefore a 19:00 with Kratie and accommodation, without knowing anything in the city! And the worst in this history is than the descent of the bus, a he came to see us and offered to us rooms in its guesthouse (Heng Heng II at the cost of 7$ all comfort and hot water) and, without hesitation, we refused because we like to keep to our commitment to Balcony guesthouse!!!!!!!
