Association organizing activities, including jungle treks with elephants to help save them
About ten kilometers west of Banlung, Chenda and Pierre-Yves Clais and Professor François-Xavier Roux have created an elephant refuge in the form of an NGO. The association also protects 100 hectares of forest near the Katieng waterfalls. To help save the elephants of the region, the association organizes activities in association with the moving pachyderm: treks through the jungle accompanied by elephants, and a whole series of educational programs aimed at informing the public while offering fun activities.
