East of Kampot, Hindu style temples, made of brick, were built in the 6th and 7th centuries inside natural caves: Phnom Trotung, Preah Kuhear, Phnom Ngok (the most beautiful)... It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find them alone. To visit them, ask for a permit at the Kampot tourist office which will provide you with a guide.
