This beautiful church with its bright white façade dominates the Yumurí valley and offers a sublime view of the city and the bay. The gardens with beautiful statues are not to be missed. For the record, the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca came here in 1930 to have his portrait taken. The poet but also the historian Urbano Martínez Carmenate report an anecdote: the Russian prince Alexis Nikolaïevitch, who passed through here before García Lorca, would have exclaimed in front of the panorama "it lacks only Adam and Eve for it to be the paradise!"
