Built in 1748, La Soledad stands out from its sister churches thanks to its brick construction. The frescoes that adorn the walls surrounding the nave are among the best preserved in the country. The church's eclectic architecture blends styles and periods, such as the Art Nouveau ceiling paintings added in the 20th century. Other highlights include the neo-Gothic wooden paintings, the altar and the silver sarcophagus.
