Recently beautifully restored, this museum is truly a Camagüey must-see! Listed as a Cuban National Heritage site in 2017, it is housed in a handsome 19th-century colonial building that once housed the Spanish cavalry. It offers a complete panorama of the province's history. Particularly noteworthy are the Republic furniture room and the collection of 19th-century paintings, one of the most significant on the island.
