Since the introduction of the new trains in 2019, the journeys are much more comfortable than before. First-class cars are even air-conditioned. The Havana-Las Tunas route is 70 UPCs in 1st class and 55 UPCs in 2nd class. Prices are lower by train than by Viazul bus but the bus remains faster.
