Born in Las Tunas, Vicente Garcia remains one of the great figures of the first war of independence (1868-1878) against the Spanish crown. Throughout the rooms, you will discover his journey and his struggle, which led him to the head of the revolt in the region. Among other things, you will see his machete, family photos and documents of the time. The building itself, known as the "Blue Building" and rebuilt on the foundations of a colonial mansion in 1921, is quite nice.
