Beautiful lush tropical park with marked trails and waterfalls and visits to this park for its orchids

A lush tropical park with 3.5 km of marked trails and 5 waterfalls including the one of La Paz, the highest and one of the most famous in Costa Rica. The only disappointment is that you can only see the beginning of the waterfall, from its highest point (you will have to leave the park and continue your way a few hundred meters to be able to admire it). Besides that, we come to visit this park for its hundreds of animals: toucans, jaguars, pumas, sloths, ocelots, parrots, etc. Allow half a day for a complete visit.

A fuir !!!
il est inadmissible de faire vivre des animaux dans ces conditions !!! (enclos beaucoup trop petits) on a l'impression de se retrouver dans un zoo français d'il y a 30 ans !! ...et en plus c'est très cher : 48$/personne ! c'est une honte

Très très cher... Nous nous sommes plutôt tournés vers la cascade La Paz, on y a accès gratuitement et très facilement, juste à côté du parc. C’était magnifique.

Nous avons apprécié pour notre 1 ère journée au Costa Rica de découvrir les animaux avant de les voir en liberté. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié les cascades et la volière aux papillons ce qui fut superbe pour les enfants. La rencontre inopinée avec la tarentule nous a laissé aussi un souvenir "hérissé" ;-)

Cascade impressionnante ! Attention, il faut descendre (puis remonter) beaucoup beaucoup de marches. Mais le spectacle vaut le coup. Beaucoup de touristes toutefois. Tarif un peu cher
