Le confort n'est pas à la hauteur du prix... chambre petite sombre humide quelques cafards ! et surtout pas de ventilation naturelle une chaleur étouffante et un ventilateur poussiéreux bruyant et inefficace. Le patio commun est sympa et pratique en revanche mais ne suffit pas à justifier le tarif.

Love love love this place!!!!! It’s casual and very laid back. The owners are amazing and very accommodating with lots of great ideas on where to eat and places to go and see. The cleaning service and staff are very friendly. We also love the location : it’s not in the middle of town but a 15 minute bike ride :) also, our room comes with an outdoor kitchenette .

pues bonita sorpresa! no se porque no me esperaba nada de otro mundo pero resultó gustarme mucho! la habitación estaba muy bien, con agua caliente. el espacio comun tambien muy bonito.
la dueña tiene muy buena energia, y el personal que habia por la mañana tambien muy amigable
alquilan bicis que estan un poco viejas pero suficientes para ir y volver a Manzanillo

Afgelopen november (2023) geweest, prima service, bijzonder aardig personeel, goede service, fijne eigenaren en een zeer redelijke kamer voor een goede prijs. Een fantastische huiskamer met bank, hangmat, grote eetftafel en lounge hoek. Een grote keuken die gebruikt mag worden, voor mij / ons een fantastische plek om te zijn. Is getekend Rob Tak

Went last November (2023), excellent service, very nice staff, good service, nice owners and a very reasonable room for a good price. A fantastic living room with sofa, hammock, large dining area and lounge corner. A large kitchen that can be used, a fantastic place for me/us to be. Signed Rob Tak

Sehr einfache Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich herzlich und freundlich. Im Garten selbst konnten wir eine kleine Gruppe Affen sowie 2 Agutis bestaunen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten im Regenwald, etwas ab von der Straße und somit auch ruhig gelegen. Es gibt einen schönen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Hängematten, tollen WLAN und eine heiße Dusche.
Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Es gibt sogar Faultiere, Affen und Kolibris direkt im Garten.
Die Haustiere sind super lieb.
Zum meist leeren Strand sind es auch nur ca. 10 Minuten. Augen auf - auch auf dem Weg gibt es Tiere zu sehen.
Wir würden wiederkommen!

Amazing! If you prefer a more jungle experience over a resort feel, this is your place! Amazing rooms with communal kitchen and lunge area. Sian Ania and Andy were very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommended!

Casa Moabi is indeed a little Paradise set in the tropical forest. I stayed for 2 months and they just flew by. I would go back at the drop of a hat. The hosts, Andy and Sian Ania are generous ( there’s coffee, tea and water available at all times) kind, helpful and knowledgeable and will regale you with stories of encounters with wild and not so wild animals. The communal kitchen allows for fun, camaraderie and meeting with interesting travellers from all over the world. The staff is wonderful and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable with either fans and/or AC and there are separate units with their own kitchens if you prefer more privacy. If you travel alone as I did, it’s nice to have company so I just loved the communal kitchen. The beach is closeby and easy to get to as are all amenities and there are stables for horseback tours just down the street. Going into town on the local bus is a treat and is cheap. Go to Café Rico for breakfast where you can exchange books as you sip a super smoothie. Enjoy the restaurants next to Casa Moabi and the excellent organic bakery nearby. Do not miss a visit to The Jaguar Rescue Center, walking distance and to ARA a conservation area for macaws or to Bribri, where natives will show you how chocolate is made into a sacred drink. Wonderful! Through & Trough!

Hermoso lugar con mucha vegetación, decorado muy bonito con su propio estilo. La atención muy buena!
Pudimos ver perezosos macho y una cría con su mamá!
Otra cosa importante es que queda cerca de la calle, lo cual lo hace más accesible para salir a otros lugares.

Alojamiento tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza. Nuestra habitación era sencilla y el precio/calidad es bueno. Durante nuestra estadía tomamos un rico desayuno con los sonidos de la selva. Era común encontrar insectos en nuestro baño (arañas, cucarachas), supongo que es normal por la ubicación pero de todas formas las chicas del aseo nos ayudaron a quitarlos.

I loved my stay! The atmosphere is paradise. You get to live in the jungle and enjoy it right as you step outside. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. I was able to relax so nicely! The casa is a 15 min walk from the beach and some very yummy restaurants. Some Of Costa Rica’s greatest wildlife can be seen right on the property. There are Comfy beds and hammocks! I spent a lot of time playing with the cats, dogs. I will stay here when I return to Costa Rica! I’m hoping to return with some friends. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel so welcome. Thank you so much!!!

Le doy dos estrellas por la amabilidad de los propietarios. Habitación muy básica, en el baño había festín de cucarachas por la noche. De la ventana que estaba exactamente arriba del respaldar de la cama, entraba un olor muy desagradable. Pero lo mejor fue que la gente no hizo silencio hasta pasada la media noche. Hace falta más higiene en la cocina. A algunos cristianos se les ocurrió la fantástica idea conversar mientras limpiaban la cocina. Demasiado ruido; tienen tres perros grandes, que no son molestos, pero ladraron a su antojo. Que noche!
No lo recomiendo si se desea realmente descansar!

Stayed for 3 nights & loved it. Cute place in the jungle only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Casa Moabi has a great communal area & kitchen kept clean & tidy daily. I opted for a triple room as we wanted more place, the beds/mattress were a little noisy but this didnt disturb me from getting a great nights sleep! Would definitely recommend and will certainly stay here again.

Un Lugar paradisiaco en medio de la Selva, Perezosos, monos, aves de todo tipo, cerca de la playa bares y restos.., un lugar soñado...destaco la amabilidad de los Dueños !! Gracias a Andy y señora por tanta educacion paz y amabilidad...siempre pendientes del bienestar de los huespedes !!! pase unas vacaciones de Diezzz !! Recomiendo casa Moabi...literalmente un Paraiso !!!! gracias y saludos desde Argentina..volvere a ir sin dudas !!

Sehr schönes Appartement mit Outdoor-Küche, grosser Terrasse mit Hängematte und alles was man sonst so braucht. Super super freundliche Gastgeberin. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Must be okay with outdoor pets walking on cooking/dish counters. Tiny dark room. The walk to the beach is about 15 minutes on a muddy trail or 25 on the road, which seemed longer because of the heat.
