JOSE CROCODILE TOUR

An outing that will undoubtedly please families, we are sure to see animals every time, in the air as in the water! For those who wish to observe the fauna up close without going into the heights or the rainforests, you will just have to sit down, open your eyes and listen. During 2 hours, José and his dynamic team will take you on a river tour to observe the fauna and flora of the Rio Tarcolès. The competent (and courageous!) guides know well the crocodiles of the area. Accustomed to their presence, these behemoths allow themselves to be observed very closely, and you will even be treated to an amazing show by the captain, when he jumps overboard to feed the greedy crocodiles. José is a native of the village and knows how to observe the surroundings better than anyone. He is completely fluent in English and has a few notions of French that will allow you to put a name to the animals you see (herons, iguanas, kingfishers, turtles, hawks, macaws....). With a little luck, you will also be able to meet the park's mascot, a 5 m long male crocodile. According to José it is the biggest crocodile you can see in its natural environment, only in captivity can you see such a big one! The tour is done most of the time with José, up to 6 times a day, depending on the tide. A tip: go early in the morning! Usually, all the animals are there, it is still cool and you will be the only ones on the river!
