SANTUARIO DE NOSSA SENHORA DES GRAÇAS

In 1936, Nossa Senhora das Graças, the Virgin Mary, appeared to two children in the village. Through them, she asked the Catholic faithful to make a rosary daily. A statue commemorates the event, in a cave located on the top of the hill, on the left hand side of the hill. Thousands of pilgrims go there every year, no fixed dates of celebration.
