With the Jul's, we enter the realm of the happy few. This elegant restaurant in the Hotel A Concept, Manguinhos, is a pleasure for the eyes as well as the taste buds. The place is warm and cosy, with wood panelling and a bay window offering a magical view. Under the expert hands of chef Marcos Sodré, each dish is a personalized work of art. The cuisine on offer is modern Thai. Pad thaï concept, with seafood flambéed in sake, lamb with madras sauce, shrimps with massala and surprising "vegetarian shrimps" with curry sauce. High prices.
