With the 74th osteria, in the very chic Casas Brancas hotel, we enter a place that honors Italian cuisine. Chef Filipe Dos Santos has happily replaced the master of pianos, Argentinian Gonzalo Vidal. The challenge was considerable, as the 74th had been heralded as a discovery by the magazine "World's 50 best restaurants". It offers excellent "d'auteur" cuisine with a 7-course menu for R$469, but you can also try individual dishes, which may be expensive, but are still excellent. Next door, Osteria 74, by the same chef, is more affordable.
