PRAIA DOS OSSOS
Pretty little beach surrounded by beautiful hotels, with statues of fishermen paying tribute to the workers of the sea
Praia dos Ossos is a pretty little beach close to the center of town. There's no swimming here, as it's mainly used as an anchorage for fishing boats. Here you'll find one of the town's postcards, the Orla Bardot, and a few dozen metres from the shore, statues of fishermen hauling in their nets. This work of art pays homage to the workers of the sea, offering passers-by a highly photogenic scene. The beach is surrounded by a group of beautiful hotels on the higher ground. The whole has a very romantic feel, one of the most pleasant in Buzios!
