CATEDRAL METROPOLITANA
A cathedral with two bell-topped towers and a pretty blue dome, works of art are on display in its small museum.
Located on the east side of the Plaza de la Constitución, it was built between 1782 and 1815. Six years later, the building took on its current appearance, with the construction of its two towers topped by tile-covered belfries. Going back to the Parque Central, we will discover the beautiful blue dome that dominates the cathedral at the level of its choir. In addition to watching the believers thronging the church on Sundays and holidays, it is also worthwhile to visit the small museum that houses some of the works of art on display in the cathedral.
