Museum with archaeological finds from the main sites of the Maya civilization, including a room with a jade collection.

This excellent museum presents chronologically the human footprint in Guatemala, from the first hunter-gatherers to contemporary times. Ceramics, sculptures, jade items... We discover the evolution and development of the Maya through a permanent collection of 20,000 archaeological pieces and 5,000 objects of ethnological interest, presented in ten main rooms. It contains some of the most impressive goods inherited from the civilization.
