MIRADOR DEL REY TEPEPUL

On the road to La Posada Santiago, 7 km from the centre, it is the occasion of a good walk through first the streets of the village and then on the heights that border it to the south.

There, one dominates one of the gates of the bay of Santiago, the bank sheltered from canoes abandoned there by the fishermen. The return to the village can be done in a pickup truck. Counsel: very often taken by tourist groups of Panajachel travel agencies, this walking route is not the nicest, far from it, other interesting and much less frequented you expect in Santiago even and in the different villages around the lake.
