This beautiful lagoon is located at almost 3,000 meters above sea level, in the middle of the mountains, between the municipalities of San Juan Ixcoy and Chiantla, in the Magdalena community. This is where the hiking trail begins, which takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete. We come here for the beautiful colors of the lagoon, whose hues oscillate between sky blue and green, being fed by a stream of crystalline waters. Some infrastructures are installed on the site, including an accommodation. Given the coldness of the altitude, don't forget your jacket.
