At the risk of repeating ourselves, the INGUAT is a mine of information about Xela and the department of Quetzaltenango. It is worth a visit even if you are just passing through, especially since it is located just a few steps from the Parque Centro América. If you are planning to visit Huehuetenango, you should get as much information as possible here, as the city does not have an office of the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turísmo.
