This building is made up of two period elements with distinct architectural styles: the former parish facade and the cathedral.
Located on the east side of Parque Centro América, the building is made up of two elements of distinct periods and architectural styles. First, the old façade of the parish. Built as early as 1535, it was almost completely destroyed by earthquakes, which only spared the main façade, later declared a national monument. In the background is the Cathedral of the Diocese of Los Altos, built in 1899. It used to be a Dominican convent.
