On the shores of the lake, the lanchas and their drivers are grouped together while waiting for tourists. The drivers of the Asociación de lancheros del lago offer a small one-hour tour to discover Petén Itza Lake and its islands. A nice walk to the wind. Longer excursions are possible; the full 4 hour tour (San Andrés, San José, the Petencito zoo and the Mirador del Rey Canek), or the lighter version of 3 hours. Rates are valid for the rental of la lancha and are fixed with the Inguat. Arrange with other tourists to form a group, the price per person will decrease all the same.
