RINCÓN DE FRANCIA
This restaurant, which boasts of having hosted politicians, bullfighters, wealthy businessmen and even heads of state, is a favourite meeting place for Quito's wealthy population. The Rincón de Francia offers fine dining in a classic and elegant setting. The chef, Mario Aragón, prepares dishes with French and Spanish influences. Among the specialties of the house are the mousse de hígado al Cognac, the pangora natural (marinated meat with steamed vegetables) or the lomo fino a las tres pimientas (filet mignon)
