HOTEL EL RELICARIO DEL CARMEN
A few steps from Plaza Grande, this historic residence dating back to 1705 is a haven of peace. A small, refined façade has 18 rooms arranged around a central patio. A lot of care was given to the restoration and no detail in the decoration was left to chance (cedar woodwork and works of art). Everything was designed or almost by local artisans. The bathrooms are not large but have everything you need. The director will tell you with kindness, pride, history and rebirth of this house that has been in his family for generations. Ask for a room on the upper floor with views of the roofs and churches of the old town. An address for religious calm in the heart of old Quito. You will find yourself one block away from Independence square. A particularly romantic address!
