Casa del Alabado is home to nearly 5,000 pieces displayed in rooms organized according to different themes
Casa del Alabado is located in the heart of the historic Quito in a superb and large colonial house dating from the 17th century. There are nearly 5,000 items relating to pre-Columbian cultures, an incredible archaeological heritage! We follow a thematic museography revealing series of figurines, pottery or stones dating back several millennia, from the first Valdivia villagers to the Inca occupation.
