VIVARIUM
This vivarium in a pretty white house in modern Quito is also home to endangered wild animals
Created in 1989, the Fundación Herpetológica Gustavo Orces manages this vivarium nestled in a pretty white house in modern Quito. You will meet snakes from the Amazonian rainforest and the tropical dry forest, as well as some exotic specimens from Asia and other boas, snakes, vipers or poisonous frogs... The Vivarium also serves as a refuge for wild animals that are on the verge of extinction or injured, which, once treated, are sent back to their original habitat. An interesting and emotional visit.
