A waterfall in the middle of a eucalyptus forest, where the locals celebrate their carnival with water fights
In the middle of a eucalyptus forest, the Peguche waterfall is a popular destination for the locals. They celebrate their carnival there with water fights and small foam bombs called cariocas. The Pawkar Raymi festival begins on the weekend before Mardi Gras and ends on that day. On this occasion, the festival is in full swing: there are concerts, folk dances... The inhabitants also come to pay homage to the Sun God during the Inti Raymi, and more particularly for the ritual night bath of the Armay Tuta.
