Count on 1 hour of pleasant walk, all uphill however (facilitated by stairs). It starts next to the cemetery from where the path leads to the Virgin. Your efforts will be rewarded by a breathtaking view of Baños and the Tungurahua volcano. Some agencies offer guided excursions to the mirador, but is it necessary? At night, the view is even more impressive, but in this case it is advisable to be accompanied by someone from the area in order to avoid possible bad encounters.
