In the heart of Riobamba, César Oña, a native of the country who studied abroad and stayed with a chef, has opened an apparently unpretentious bar-cafeteria on the main avenue, Daniel Leon Borja. The food here is Ecuadorian, even "Riobambenian" quality, prepared with fresh local products. Ask for an empanada de morocho and you will be taken for a local! They also serve good chicken wings with chips. The service is friendly, the dishes are of good quality. Perfect place for a quick break and not very expensive.
