The CIDAP houses a singular collection of American folk art from various Indian communities

CIDAP, created in 1975 by an agreement between the Government of Ecuador and the Organization of American States, OAS, is the third oldest institution in the Americas dedicated to the promotion of handicrafts. Here one can appreciate a singular collection of American folk art from the different Indian communities of the Sierra and the Amazon. Techniques of yesterday and today. Also a shop of popular crafts.

Nous sommes passés au CIPAD quelques minutes, c'était sur le chemin du musée des cultures aborigènes.
Le CIPAD est gratuit. En dehors des collections, l'édifice est un beau palais colonial.
