Museum housing some 5,000 pieces illustrating the periods of Ecuador's pre-Columbian history
Some 5,000 pieces are on display here (ceramics, jewellery, utensils, etc.). All illustrate the periods of Ecuador's pre-Columbian history. The exhibition, which comes from a private collection, is the most interesting and complete in the city in terms of archaeology. The few legends are appreciated in French and an informative booklet on indigenous art is available. Cafeteria in the patio and a well-stocked craft shop. A visit not to be missed.

Musée très riche retraçant l'histoire et la culture aborigène. Très intéressant.
Ce qui est super c'est que les objets sont très proches et tres bien éclairés. On peut également déjeuner dans le joli patio et la patronne est très sympathique.
Un musée qui ne paie pas de mine vue de l'extérieur mais qui recèle de nombreux trésors.
Une très bonne surprise
