The community tourism network Saraguro Rikuy aims to promote another form of tourism and allows visitors via the Kawsay Foundation to stay in villages alongside local families. The network comprises 8 associations. A Saraguro, groups and families are housed in the community hotel Achik Wasi. On-site: You will sleep in a house of Adobe and wood (some can accommodate up to 35 people). The rooms are basic but comfortable, with private bathroom and TV. You will take your meals on site and participate in daily tasks (housework, kitchen and work in the fields). Nothing like a life in immersion!
