The huts are better known as Charlie and Sarah's huts, named after their Canadian owners who arrived here over 15 years ago. The walk (for backpackers!) to reach this place from the center of Vilcabamba takes about an hour. The bungalows are built into the side of the mountain, with terraces overlooking the Yambala River in a wilderness setting of absolute calm. The restaurant with its large fireplace serves vegetarian cuisine. Games, laundry service, book exchange and Wi-Fi available (fee).
