MUSEO NAHIM ISAIAS
Museum hosting temporary exhibitions of works from around the world
This museum was the one of the former Filanbanco bank that went bankrupt. It is primarily aimed at lovers of sacred art. Its collection of colonial and republican religious art (about 2,500 pieces) now occupies the entire space, with temporary exhibitions featuring works from all over the world. The collections (especially those of the quiteña colonial school) are enjoyed in a cosy atmosphere, to the sound of classical music in harmony with the works presented. The archaeology collection once on display now belongs to the MAAC collection.
