MUSEO NACIONAL DEL CACAO
Museum presenting the history and agricultural tradition of the region, which produces some of the world's finest cocoa
This new museum, which will open in July 2021, is housed in the superb house of Walter Guzman Aspiazu, a cocoa entrepreneur at the end of the 19th century. The ground floor houses a small didactic cocoa factory, set up thanks to donations from Jean-Paul Burrus, an Alsatian chocolate industrialist. This beautiful house has been restored to what it was in the 1930s. The history and agricultural tradition of the region, which produces some of the best cocoa in the world, can be found here. Not to be missed!
