Only 10 kilometres from the famous Mont-Saint-Michel, the town of Pontorson is a good base for visiting the Channel and the medieval city. From this town marked by a history sometimes English and sometimes French, a cycle path joins the banks of the Couesnon. You will then ride along the water to Mont-Saint-Michel. The last part is on a lane shared with pedestrians. However, be aware of the large number of visitors during the tourist season.

Very nice stroll along the canal, free from car traffic and which has the advantage not to pay the parking lot of Mont St Michel
