Beautiful long white sandy beach home to marine iguanas, flamingos and pelicans, as well as many rare birds

At the end of a footpath (about 40 minutes walk), this beautiful and long white sandy beach extends for 1 km. It can also be reached by boat from Puerto Ayora for a few dollars. It inherits its name from its regular frequentation by sea turtles that you will probably have the opportunity to see if you put your head under water. You can also see marine iguanas, flamingos and pelicans as well as many rare birds. This beach is worth spending a day on, so bring food and water.

La plage est très jolie. Nous y avons de beaux iguanes marins et terrestres. L'eau est transparente. Une baignade agréable.

Magnifique plage de sable blanc, une des plus belles que l'on connaisse avec un sable blanc le plus fin que l'on n'ait vu. Il n'est pas possible d'y nager à cause du courant, mais en la parcourant vous y verrez toutes sortes d'animaux, comme ces petits requins à pointes noires qui viennent vous passer entre les jambes. Un vrai régale! Il est possible de se baigner à la petite plage au bout de cette grande plage, mais l'eau y est plutôt trouble, donc pas terrible pour regarder les poissons. Cette petite plage est plutôt fréquentée, car il y a peu de plages où l'on peut se baigner à Santa Cruz.
Le seul ennui ce sont les bateaux qui y viennent déverser les touristes qui ne veulent pas se taper la marche pour venir (nous, nous y sommes venus deux fois pour le plaisir!)
