Viewpoint with large statue of Darwin, flanked by a sea lion
A path climbs up a hill from where we can observe the two species of frigate birds(tijeretas) of the Galapagos, the supreme frigate and the Pacific frigate. There is a beautiful panoramic view of Wreck Bay to the south and the León Dormido rock to the west. It is also possible to see whales between June and October. On the third viewpoint, you can see a large statue of Darwin, flanked by a sea lion. The beach at the foot of the hill is the ideal place to refresh yourself after the walk, the waters are safe and full of fish.
