Since mid-2014, Sogatra has set up a metered taxi service. The fleet currently consists of about 100 air-conditioned Fords, with courteous, elegant and careful drivers. The system is the same as in France: you pay for the pick-up if you call a taxi, then a fixed price per kilometre. The fare is not necessarily more expensive if you make an average journey. In addition, you avoid wasting time finding a taxi and the hassle of negotiating a decent price. It's clear, transparent and pleasant.
