Nearly 17,000 runners take to the streets of Libreville for this sporting event, which features several races for all levels.

Awarded the IAAF Road Race Bronze label by World Athletics, the Gabon Marathon is now a not-to-be-missed event for sports enthusiasts, with over 18,000 runners taking to the streets of Libreville over two days, starting from the Presidential Palace. The program includes races for all levels: half-marathon, marathon, 10 km race, junior race and women's race. Free coach-led training sessions are organized a few months beforehand to prepare for the event. Sportsmen and women, if you're in the capital on that date, get ready for the race!
