Museum housing several rooms for exhibitions of primitive and contemporary art
Inaugurated in February 2019, the National Museum is now a must-see in Libreville. Modern and fascinating, it presents objects used daily by the ethnic groups that populate Gabon, from baskets to musical instruments. Special mention goes to the room dedicated to the discovery of the Iroungou cave in 2018, where you can accompany the French archaeologist on an interactive virtual tour. The tour continues in the small botanical garden.
