Association organizing leatherback turtle excursions and forest walks
ASF is a local NGO working in the Pongara park on Pointe Denis beach to monitor and study leatherback turtles. The association used to have a turtle museum at the end of the Pointe, on the bar side, to provide tourists with information on these egg-laying phenomena, but it was destroyed by the waves. A new project is now underway. They are organizing leatherback turtle excursions and forest walks.
