Religious building whose history is linked to the existence of the Ipassa research station
Under the direction of French Father Claire, this religious building was built between 1958 and 1967, the date of its inauguration. It is entirely built of cut stones, the same ones that were used for the sub-buildings of the houses of Ipassa, works of René Ambert. Its altar of celebration is entirely made of iron stones coming from the surroundings of the city of Bélinga, in homage to the city of stones (Makokou). The history of this recently rehabilitated historical building is linked to the existence of the Ipassa research station.
